Timber frame log store, Lenzie

Douglas fir frame with larch cladding. Open to allow airflow to the drying timber. Steel box section roof with large overhangs to keep Scottish mizzle and snowfall away from the footprint.

This log store was commissioned by an existing client as an ancillary building to the main house. Designed to be a visually appealing, but ultimately practical building.
